Sunday 5th August – Annual Rye Raft Race & Fete

Now there may be a more valuable use of time but frankly, it is hard to imagine what that might be. Here we shall see a variety of crazy craft take to the River Rother in a bid to be first across the finishing line. There are six raft classes advertised in the Raft Race programme.

Race starts at 1.30pm with rafts launching from noon.
Fete at The Salts from 12 noon.
