Saturday 10th November – Rye Bonfire Night

Rye's not messing around when it comes to fireworks. If you've never been before the only word to describe it really is epic. Burning torches, amazing processions and the most spectacular bonfire & firework display in all of Englandshire.

18.30 – Procession Starts from Tilling Green
20.00 – "Chairing Down” – mystery celeb lights the bonfire
20.30 – Fireworks Display

The Ship will be doing 2 sittings for dinner – one at 6.30 and one at 9.30. The menu will be a shorter version of the usual style – so steak, chicken & ham pie, a couple of local fish specials, that sort of thing. If you don't feel like sitting down to eat however, we're also going to have the main bar open and will be serving sausages in rolls, soup and burgers outside the front of the pub....
