Saturday 8th November

Rye’s not messing around when it comes to fireworks. If you’ve never been before the only word to describe it really is epic. Or maybe pagan! A torchlit march on the town, parade, floats, and  the most spectacular bonfire & firework display in all of Englandshire. Think the Wicker Man, but with pallets. You’ll see what we mean.

Timetable (but check nearer the time)
19.30 – Procession Starts from Tilling Green
Followed by bonfire and fireworks on the Salts

Visit: for more details

Here at the Ship we will be serving food all day from 12noon – it’s always a busy night, so book early for a table to eat. However, there will also be mulled wine, soups/stews and hot roast pork sandwiches to eat on the hoof!
