Then there's Dungeness, Britain's second largest shingle beach, home to the nuclear power plant and Derek Jarman's moonscape garden which are both well worth seeing, plus there's a fish and chip shop right on the sea-front where you can sit outside and inhale salty air which gives an extra kick to the fish.
