Bodiam Castle is 15 minutes away and there are also some important historic towns to visit like Hastings & Battle (both c.20 minutes away). So all in all you'd better get cracking....(or keep quiet, pretend you didn't know all these things existed and just stay in the pub all weekend getting slaughtered).
