The rooms are simple, clean, cheerful and seasidey, if that's a word. The building is hundreds of years old and has been adapted and converted at different times throughout the years. As such, the layout and size of the rooms vary so if you like you can click on the image and read a brief description of each to help you choose which one you're likely to like best.

If you're staying at the pub and get tired of being out & about there's lots to do here – choose from Scrabble, Risk, a special Rye variation of Monopoly, dominoes, Jenga and a load of books and DVDs – spanning all interests from artistic films made by locally important people like Derek Jarman, the entire BBC series of Mapp & Lucia – shot here in Rye! Old favourites like Blithe Spirit, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie & Rebecca....and for the truly discerning we've all the Die Hard & Rocky films ever made.
